NCAF PROJECT HISTORY

1. Restoration of Dunning Stadium Turf Field

In the summer of 2016, New Canaan Athletic Director, Jay Egan voiced concern that the turf at Dunning Stadium was in desperate need of repair. The turf field was in such disarray, that it was doubtful Dunning could be used later that fall. A group of like-minded community members joined together to raise the funds needed, and there began New Canaan Athletic Foundation (NCAF).  NCAF formed a public-private partnership with the Town of New Canaan.
